INDIGENOUS FASHION SHOW

Curated by the fabulous Geraldine Carriere from Cumberland House Cree Nation, this will be the second year of the Indigenous Fashion Show. Geraldine's success in supporting others to see and reach their own dreams. Author, motivational speaker, life & business coach, recording artist, and Wild Woman, Geraldine is known for promoting Indigenous culture and the fashion of the Cree, Dene, and Métis artists in the Wood Buffalo region.

The Indigenous Fashion Show is a unique opportunity for Indigenous artists who are participating in the Gift Shop & Gallery to have their creations under the spotlight on the catwalk. Geraldine works with local Indigenous community members for the fashion show models. She creates a fun and empowering atmosphere where Indigenous design, art, and fashion shine just as brightly as the pride felt by the models and the crowd at the power and beauty of Indigenous people and culture.
